FAQ - Products & Service
Q: What functions of these cranes are hydraulic vs. electric motor driven?

A: On Benazzato's cranes, the erecting and un-erecting funtions are hydraulic while the operating functions (rotating/slewing, trolly in and out, and hoist up and down) are performed by electric motors driven by power inverters.

Q: Are these cranes mobile on the jobsite?

A: Currently all of our cranes are stationary on the jobsite, once erected.  We are working on a "crawling" function to be able to more easily reposition our cranes on your jobsite.

Q: I have a tight lot or a lot that is on steep, impassable terrain.  I'm not going to be able to use my extended forklift on this job.  Do your cranes have the same limitations?

A: No, in fact this situation is one of the situations that favors our cranes over extended forklifts.  Since our cranes are set in their location and they reach radially around the jobsite via the rotating arm/jib, there are no ground elevation or ground protrusion issues that prohibit use.
